My experience with backlit keyboards is they wash out on white or silver laptops due to the screen reflecting off of the keys. Opt for the Fog Blue to minimize.

Wow $400 for Ryzen 7 4700U + FHD screen + WiFi 6 (just $10 for the WiFi upgrade, so why not futureproof it), it's gotta be one of the cheapest, if not the cheapest ever for that combo.

A pretty futureproof buy, and I think the RAM and SSD are replaceable so if you need to do it now, or in the future, it's a perfect base to start with.

Most laptops have a glossy screen but if it is has a matte screen it will probably be mentioned in the laptop's description. Otherwise assume it has a glossy screen

They sell aftermarket FHD 1920x1080, 120Hz Upgrade, Matte screens on amazon and other places for about $75. Not hard to do if you have your heart set on matte.

I have another HP and the only thing I wish was that they made the case more like and old screw laptop without the sticky rubber strips on the bottom; it feels like taking the thing on and off constantly is going to eventually wear it out. I'd even pay for an option of "+50$ for more solid build quality."

No it's not . It's another $40 to make it fhd bringing the total to $440

Edit: looks like the price dropped. It was $399 now it's $349 so now with the fhd screen upgrade it's $399

It works on mobile site. Desktop chrome gave error.
