Coupon SMBHOL10 works for $599 or more.
Paypal Chase offer gives 5% cashback too !!
A pretty futureproof buy, and I think the RAM and SSD are replaceable so if you need to do it now, or in the future, it's a perfect base to start with.

Upgraded to 32gb DDR4-3200 and 1TB NVME.
Monitor is LG supports HDR playback
Bios version is F10
Fingerprint scanner installed and working properly
Support "Stream HDR" only means its just a SDR panel, real HDR playback (Youtube, Netflix etc) needs all three "yes" in that windows "Display capabilities" including "Use HDR" and "Use WCG apps."
You almost got me there, am I paying $400 for a laptop with HDR panel? Too good to be true.
And I have been checking my porch 20 times today hoping FedEx will show up.

I am sure it's this laptop's first time visiting America, she is sure making all stops and taking pictures.
10 Days in Memphis with no movement. Leaving town the afternoon of the 24th. $1 says it gets here within an hour of the time I leave.

Really wish this had a hinge that could fold all the way like a convertible, but can't have it all for approx ~$450 I guess. =S

Well didn't expect to see the laptop going to memphis after Alaska as I am in Arizona. Looking more like I'll be getting this after Xmas and get the 50 dollars off. It is updated that I'll be getting this today again, but doubtful.
Fedex moved first from 21st, then to 22nd, now "Scheduled delivery: Pending"

Very nice laptop, no issues so far. Laptop customized options received as ordered (backlit keyboard, HD screen and Intel wireless card). Fingerprint scanner included
I have one too many, but I didn't get the 10% off coupon to work.
FedEx news update:
Last computer I ordered (about 3pm EST IIRC) is at my regional distribution point, so it will go to my local terminal later this morning and be delivered today.
The first computer I ordered, and the first Pavilion built for me, with expedited shipping, has finally left Memphis. Expect to get it today or tomorrow. Will have everything I bought on Black Friday when this one arrives. Interesting how paying an extra $7 made the first order into the last delivery.
I don't think that's what the MS recovery media tool does.
There's a hidden recovery directory on drive C:, is it as simple as making a bootable thumb drive and copying that directory to it?

I think TrueImage, Norton Ghost, or Clonezilla are going to be far more reliable than assuming you know how any HP recovery solution works.
