My experience with backlit keyboards is they wash out on white or silver laptops due to the screen reflecting off of the keys. Opt for the Fog Blue to minimize.

Wow $400 for Ryzen 7 4700U + FHD screen + WiFi 6 (just $10 for the WiFi upgrade, so why not futureproof it), it's gotta be one of the cheapest, if not the cheapest ever for that combo.

A pretty futureproof buy, and I think the RAM and SSD are replaceable so if you need to do it now, or in the future, it's a perfect base to start with.

Did you mean they can credit us the difference for "exchange"? That is, can we exchange for a new one with the same price we bought, if I don't want to return and get refund? I really like the laptop specs and the price, except the annoying static noise!

They said they can't exchange. You have to return the old one and they will credit it back once received. You have to repurchase a new one at today's price, and won't ship till the end of January. Once that ships they will credit the difference. Smh.

Got the credit email and they shipped mine on 12/26. No further mention about the credit, so I talked to support and just told my agent about my case. Copy and pasted her the email which she forwarded to higher-level staff, got my $50 back about an hour after that.

I'm patiently waiting until Jan 4th and 8th. If nothing happens or delivery is made and no $50 credit then charge back is the only option in cases like this one.

Yes. I made sure they sent something in writing. They should have a way of exchanging it without forking full price out.
