I installed this on the HP $449 deal from Best buy, but after I ran UserBenchmark to check overall speed, my video card was running 5% slower than before. Anyone got any ideas? I've maxed out the GPU settings and checked for XMP settings in the bios.

Might want to swap back and check.. also benchmark the ram too.

Ram spec usually has to be the same or similar speed.. might get away with slightly faster cl timings, but ymmv.. risky unless ram mfg tested this and approved.

There is SODIMM on sale on the HyperX store, 2x16GB with 2933mhz CL17 for $102 is better than this deal. I tried getting Amazon to pricematch but no luck yet. Most laptops can't run this crucial memory at 3200mhz anyways, that's why the HyperX deal is better for me personally.

Why do you say most laptops can't run it at 3200mHz? I'm not super knowledgeable about it. I do believe the 10th gen Intel i5/i7 can run at 3200mHz, correct?

It will depend entirely on your motherboard, you will have to check for compatibility; mine can only do 2933mhz. I have this exact same ram as a single stick and it downclocks to 2933mhz.

What laptop do you own? This Ram would still work in it, but might or might not run at the 3200 speed
