I'm thinking about pulling the trigger, though. These deals kept on getting worse as we approached yesterday's Black Friday but I'm getting antsy and anxious. I just want a new phone already. (I, too, have the iphone 7 (plus))
Anyone have any thoughts on Cyber Monday deals??

I spoke with a rep on Wednesday (11/25/20) about this deal. It's called "2020 Apple Trade P25".
They quote, "Wherein, for a limited time in all markets, get up to $730 off a new Apple iPhone 12 mini via monthly Reoccurring Device Credits when you purchase it on Device Installment Plan, trade in a qualifying Apple iPhone, and activate a new line of qualifying voice service."
You must activate a new line in order to receive the higher trade-in value. It's confusing cause in this holiday promo link from T-Mobile [t-mobile.com], it does not say.
When I checked today for Iphone 7 following is the logic the kiosk representative gave:
For Iphone 7 offer of 270$. But if the phone trade-in value is valued only as $70 then that will be one time bill credit and the reminder $200 will come as virtual pre-paid card.
