Just adding this in, if you have an iPhone X and trade for a 12 mini, the phone will be free (or $50 extra for 128gb version). If you want the 12, the iPhone X will be worth substantially less on trade-in and the difference for me was over $400.
iPhone mini is $657- So you're saying the trade in on an X is $550+$100 rebate?

Yesterday, yes. But the rep said that trading for an iPhone 12 will not have the same deal.

I just did this for 2 of my phones, here is the breakup
12 Traded Xr - 746.99 + 54.16(Tax) - 374 Trade in Value out of which ($196 on Card and $178 in monthly credits )
12 Pro Traded Xs - 899.99 + 65.25(Tax) - 450 Trade in Value out of which ($226 on Card and $224 in monthly credits )

Kept my existing Simple Choice plan and retained my lines (did not add new)

With the current horrible deals, I found this the best one because of Costco 10% off on phones

200 shopcard is BYOD and not for iPhone buy
Couldn't I BYOD my XS Max to get the $200 shop card, then "Upgrade" it to 12 Pro to get the $450 trade in?

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to update y'all on the deal I ended up going with today. TBH, the deals leading up to last Friday kept getting worse and I was getting disappointed (especially with the whole locking in 24/36-months). I am not sure what tomorrow's Cyber Monday will bring but I'm sure a ton of us will keep our eyes peeled. Anyways, here's what I got.

Through the T-mobile Customer Care line (800-548-2848), I was able to:

- Trade in my iPhone 7 Plus for the iPhone 12 Mini 128gb
- Pay for the iPhone 12 Mini in full (iPhone 12 Mini 128gb total was $861.99 with tax ($779.99 + 10.5%))
- Receive a $300 rebate card delivered in approximately 3 weeks

At the end of the all this, the price of the phone minus the rebate card is $561.99 but at least I don't have to stick around for 24-months. I must share that the rep said they can do this as a "one time courtesy" but who knows how many times they've used that line to make us feel special =)

P.S. I did not have to add an additional line or anything. And I was on the T-Mobile ONE Unlimited 55 plan when I receive this deal.

Why would you get monthly credits if you did this deal in Costco? Did you have them ship the phones to your address?

So... can we upgrade and trade in the BYD device that I just activated with the $200 shop card a a few days back? Since it's not EIP could you not just trade it in now and upgrade the device for nice instand trade in?

First porting in a number for the $100 virtual credit as well?

No, I got the phone in store, but That's what the Costco wireless rep told me. He said I would only get the value of traded phone in card rest in bill credits. He might be wrong though.

Okay. It should be a one time rebate.

I also bought an iPhone on Black Friday and want to make sure I'm sending the Trade-In to the correct address. Here are my trade-in agreements and shipping label I was given. Can you please look at this and tell me if this is what you got too?
