T-Mobile's got a lot of Black Friday deals running right now, including offers on Apple, Samsung, and Google phones plus a free voice line promotion. And soon it'll add another special offer.

This Monday, November 30, T-Mobile will offer a free iPhone XR, T-Mobile REVVL 5G, or Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 when you add a new line. This deal will be available to both new and existing customers.

This Cyber Monday offer will only be available for 24 hours.

While the iPhone XR isn't Apple's latest smartphone, it does run iOS 14 so you get all of the new features of that update like home screen widgets, picture-in-picture videos, mentions and in-line replies for iMessage, and more. And speaking of updates, the Galaxy Watch Active 2 was just updated with improved GPS accuracy and connectivity and some other goodies.

DOES NOT STACK WITH FREE LINE

Extra Details:

ALL T-Mobile postpaid plans are eligible for the phone offers, even ancient plans, as long as you can finance a phone on the plan.

The credit is a typical bill credit over the length of the EIP.

My recommendation to T-Mobile... Cyber Monday Loyalty Discount:

1-year with T-Mobile $20-off.
5-years... $100-off.
10-years... $200-off
15-years... $300-off.

Simple...

So while I want to transfer my mother from Verizon to the magenta 55+ rate from T-Mobile to get the free iPhone XR and the free $100 gift card I'm wanting to bring my own paid off device from sprint to T-Mobile as well.

My question is will I qualify for the $100 gift card for my line even though I'm coming from sprint?
It didn't look like it said that I couldn't do that in the $100 gift card fine print, but I remember previously reading that I can't get gift card promos if I'm moving from a sister T-Mobile account...

If I'm not eligible for the $100 gift card because of coming from sprint could I hypothetically pay for 1 month of Verizon prepaid to get a Verizon account and then techically port in from a Verizon account to get the free $100 gift card? Do you think that it might be eligible that way?
Thank you for your help.

Bill credits is the new contract. How is this "un-carrier"?

Pay $20 to port in your number to google. Then you can port out free of charge. Be sure to set you PIN before port back out to TMobile.
When you set up a new tmobile account can you ask them to port the number from google voice with the new phone or is this done through google voice? Is this immediate or what is there a time lag where I would be without a phone? Thanks.

Thanks for the info. Have you tried it? How do you port the number from google voice back to my tmobile phone after creating a new account? Would they allow this? Thanks.
sounds like dont know anything about phone deal. its better you sign up with different name/ssn from your family member. you need to be out at least 90 days to come back as new customer.

T-mobile will handle the port in from your google voice. But since you are with Sprint who is now T-Mobile, you can't open an account with T-Mobile. It must be your spouse or someone in your family to open with.

I can understand that you can't take advantage of a free line promo and a device offer on that free line but what if you add multiple lines? I had 1 line with t-mobile and ended up adding 2 new lines which made the 3rd one free but I would assume someone could utilize the offer on that 2nd line that's paid.

This sort of pretend "deal" for "get something" if one "activates a new line" is typical of mobile carriers. If a shopper really needs the line, then this could be a nice deal if you don't mind being tied to a given carrier.

Otherwise, to me at least, this is just a somewhat sophisticated typical cell carrier con game.

Cell carrier could afford to offer real sale prices if they wanted to. They don't because this sort of "sale" makes huge profits for them

Just my $.02 Thx, t-mobile, for a con game offer on cyber Monday.

A real off would be $300-$400 off a premium new gen high end cell phone, for new and current customers. No further conditions.

Those are the sorts of offers consumers see on every other electronic product, on big holiday shopping days. So, why not on premium cell phones?

Hey, t-mobile! Try it!
You are the "un-carrier", right?
Or are you?

For a single line, these phones suck. Free flagship phones are the main reason people sign up for expensive carriers instead of an mvno. I bought my s10e two years ago. I paid it outright with a $300 discount via xfinity mobile, canceled service, and have since paid an avg of $25 a month for 8gb/m with mint mobile. I will never go back.

Tmobile would not have an issue with porting from google voice? Don't they normally ask what is your current carrier?

Short answer = No.

Sprint is already owned by T-Mobile, just not fully rebranded yet, so you would not be a new customer or switching to T-Mobile. If you ported your number to a different carrier it would have to be away from TMO for a longer period to qualify as a new line, and get related promos. Otherwise it would be a "winback" or subscriber who decided against canceling for whatever reason. I think it is 90 days for TMO... maybe 60? Hope that helps you decide what to do!
