This is perfect for my cycling setup. 40hr play time is nice!!! Since i don't need to keep my phone out and about and risk getting robbed.

Seriously just cause your scared of getting robbed? Stealing phones nowadays is useless anyway for a thief is not like they could unlock it it's literally almost impossible
You sound like a normal person with a normal thought process who wouldn't do that. Good for you. I live in Miami. Good night.

Bought this for my daughter last year, she loves it. Until last month, when connecting with computer, it would give error a second after connecting. One of those loose cable issues due to type C port. I contacted them and they sent me a new one RIGHT AWAY. Great service. We had friends of ours ask us and they bought it for their daughter. Downside is no touch screen but my daughter said she really doesn't care as its easier to navigate. It also comes with couple of dongles to connect with other devices and transfer mp3's on fly.

bought a similar product cheap a few months ago and love it

the output from the phone jack is weak.
but the nice thing is that you can use BT to connect your quality earphone/headphones to bypass its crappy DAC.

Wait, so lossless went from $200+ to 15 bucks? What makes this lossless, and can anybody compare it to my quad dac LG phone? I'd buy 4 of these for my car if it really is lossless, as I already buy and rip cds lossless to avoid the compression and pair it with my quad dac and hand picked Jeep speakers.
Wait for what? I don't know the answer to your snarky question, nor do I care. It's a $15 buck no-name gadget, that was regularly priced at ~$30--what's your point?

is this better than the original Sansa Clip's lossless audio quality?

Yes, but generally, not nearly as well.

Plus, many phones don't have headphone jacks anymore etc.

I have a Fiio M7 and I guarantee it sounds better than any phone.

Sound quality is paramount to some of us.

When you search the reviews about half the people who mention FLAC say the files don't work on this and that it won't play wav files. You can always return it if it doesn't cooperate with your digital music library. I'll give it a shot and report back in a week.
