I needed a new 17'' to replace a several year old HP, I changed up a few things, used the top $ back site for an additional 12%, a cc for an additional 5% and the coupon. It also went down $20 from yesterday. I am happy...

Their website makes it seem as if the ship has sailed even though it probably won't go into build for like 3 more weeks. (Says estimated ship date 12/22)

I'm a touch typer so it doesn't really matter to me too much, but my child would prolly find it useful.

I debated back and forth whether to add more potential insult to injury by ordering another one and planning on returning one... but ultimately decided I didn't want to invite my risk and pain.

Having a backlit keyboard is add $30 towards my price. And it's back up to $419 since I backed out and went thru a cash back site....so I'm waiting a little longer

I added the basic setup in my cart, and returned couple of hours later. The price showed at $259.99 with a $260 discount. I figured must be a mistake, but maybe I get lucky, so after checking the configuration I went to check out. During checkout it still showed the same amounts plus tax. After I paid, the order showed $399 + $24 tax (a jump from the erroneous $259.99 + $24 tax).

So I am requesting a cancelation now...which seems to take as long as waiting for Columbus to discover America. Anyone had a similar experience?

I had a similiar expierence, the price was same for a while, but after I paid, they doubled the price, they asked me to wait for 24-48 hours for the cancellation request, and then after 48 hours, told me wait for another 24-48 hours, not including Sat&Sunday.
