I owned a laptop from 2010 to 2014 with this resolution. It's worth it if the graphics are anemic (like with this integrated graphics). It'll probably make the difference of making quite a few games playable.

I'm a touch typer so it doesn't really matter to me too much, but my child would prolly find it useful.
I debated back and forth whether to add more potential insult to injury by ordering another one and planning on returning one... but ultimately decided I didn't want to invite my risk and pain.
I'm wondering the same thing... Anyone know if memory can be switched out for (2) 16 GB sticks?

A search on the Kingston memory site shows the 17z series having 16 GB max allowance. I can't verify, but that's the data I found.
