I know there are other HP deals that have been posted, but I think this configuration is the best value for a 14" convertible. There are some better values in 15.6" laptops, but I wanted something lighter and more portable.

Reasons I steered clear other 14" models: Older 10th gen processors, slower clock speeds, limited to 8gb onboard soldered memory,

Biggest benefits of this model - Faster 11th gen processor options, 4G LTE options, stylus pen included, WiFi 6 included, convertible 2-in-1 design, lightweight. The part that sealed it for me was being able to get it in a color that is close to my wife's favorite color - teal.

Anyone know if the M.2 SSD can be upgraded by ourselves to pcie nvme ssd ?
$70 for the upgrade option seems a bit steep.

You can upgrade the i7, but an i5 on a 2-in-1 is fine with me. I'm not doing video editing, CAD, or even gaming. I just want good performance for web, email, office 365, and occasional use for movies on the go.

You can get a 400nit display, but that's just a battery killer. Same with 4k.
For what you want, an i3 would do all that perfectly fine.

Why no love for this deal ? Seems like a decent deal at $380 for 1080P 2-in-1 screen.

Two things I am not sure of is - if the RAM is soldered and if the default M2 SSD is PCIe or SATA.

Anyone care to comment ?

You do realize that failure rate for ALL laptop brands average anywhere from 10-20% right?

Did you realize this is a customizable laptop. You can choose the screen you want or the cpu you want.

Seems that 10% off coupon code doesn't want to work with just upgrading the screen - unless I add 2 of them to the cart. Removing the duplicate removes the coupon effect.
