So far these drives are running flawlessly in my DS920+. In terms of noise, they are fairly noisy when seeking, but less noisy than the WD RED Plus 10TB drives that recently got released.
Does your shared pool volume show 16tb x 4? Mine just shows 16tb with expanding status for a few days also. I set up with 2 drives first then added another 2 when they arrived later

Did you set up 3 drives at once?

Yes they were all initialized and configured at the same time.

Got the drives today. No problems creating a new volume on the DS1515+ to replace the WD Red 6TB drives I had. The drives seem quieter the the ones they're replacing. Awesome deal!

woohoo! finally got a shipment notification. I'm curious, has anyone run into issues with these NOT working in their NAS? i'm not concerned, and if they don't work in mine, it's time to upgrade the NAS. I'll buy the drives off someone if they can't use them.

Got mine a few days ago, and already in the process of RMA... I installed the HD in my PC, formatted, transferred some shows and a few hours later it was no longer accessible. Checked BIOS and it was no longer showing up. Tested on another PC and same thing, nothing. They will only let me do a return and not exchange. BAD LUCK! cause it was a great deal too!

Did you make sure it's properly connected to motherboard SATA port and properly connected to the drive port? Did you tried using different SATA cables? It's under 5 year warranty.. why not go that route? Also, you can try asking a manager for help in getting an exchange/replacement.

Yea it was properly connected cause it was reading fine for a couple of hours and then just went dead. I just tested it without the data cable connected, only the power cable, and no noise or movement seem to be coming from it. I'm gonna have to ask them for an exchange again, they only gave me an option of return "at this time." I'll wait for back order if I had to at this price tbh.

I placed 2 orders (4 drives total). Arrived about a week and a half ago. My order was placed around 9:30 am, so before this was posted to SD.

All 4 working fine in Raid 10 in a QNAP TS-004.
