Same price that it's been for the past week or so. I got it last week, stuck 16gb of RAM in there and it's a pretty solid, budget gaming laptop. Hinges are kind of weak and creak because of the plastic, but for $450, I'm not complaining.

And it's your job to reallocate your money into items that will either expand your wealth or preserve it. Maybe it is this laptop that can help you make money or maybe it is a bar of gold that prevents your saving from becoming destroyed.

This is just enough laptop to play some games.. it can provide just enough value to tide you over till the 30 series laptops get released.. ordinarily I wouldn't say this but hopefully they will keep the price just high enough initially to stop hoarders from snapping up every last one until there is ample supply and put in place measures to stop gouging. Probably by next September... A 5800octacore mobile with a 3060 or 3070 mobile.

Have you noticed that this is the only laptop that is receiving this kind of criticism. Its not some crazy coincidence. A lot of people on this site can actually spot value. First this isn't really a 450 dollar laptop its more like 550 when you add in the required upgrades to storage and memory. A lot of people were adding extended warranty protection also for the inevitable breakage of the low quality build. So in fact this 450 laptop is 600 plus which puts you in neighborhood of quite a few far superior laptops available for sale this holiday shopping weekend. If you keep it under a glass case and its operated by a an adult on an external monitor/keyboard/mouse its probably fine but gaming laptops take a lot of beating. Both from heat and play. Think about the abuse a game controller gets when giving it to your kid and imagine what they will put this laptop through.

If you need to use zoom or Skype there's plenty of other laptops out there that don't require a dedicated graphics card. It's like buying a Ford F-150 just to drive you to and from work and the store but you never use the truck bed, never use the 4x4 and your not even a tall or big person to justify the size. Just get the correct tool for what you need

They were available for in store pickup everywhere around me for the longest amount of time.

For $150 to $250 more you can get a laptop that performs 50% to 70% better for games with a better screen and build quality.

The Gateway for $650 at Walmart with the RTX 2060 and 144hz screen was a much better buy than this and easily worth the extra $200. Even at the current $699 price, it's worth the difference.

It's a good price for what you get. Just bought a 2nd one for my niece who is replacing an old Toshiba she's had since 2010. I think she will be more than happy with it. Smilie
