Returning this, it only has 32 dhcp reservations, you can easily go past that with smart devices, game consoles, and multiple computers
A really powerful wifi 5 router for those who dont need wifi 6 yet and are not planning on doing the switch for awhile.

As a standalone router this one will better. I bought a Nest and will be returning it and getting this one. Unstable 5 Ghz on the Nest and bad range. 2.4 Ghz speed is underwhelming. It chooses very bad channels and you can't change it, you just have to restart the router multiple times and hope it gets it right.

MR8300 has 2x2 radio for both 2.4 Ghz and 5 Ghz bands vs the TP link here which has 3x3 radios. But the MR8300 is Qualcomm based and for that price it's a steal and can be extended with mesh if needed. TP Link C4000 uses a Broadcom chip and can't be extended with mesh. Can't go wrong with either option.
