    • Note, you often have to wait 24 to 48 hours after linking your rewards account before you can "activate" the offer. Check the link in the next step after a few days for eligibility.
  2. Click here to activate the promotion on your Amazon account
  3. Add $50 or more in products sold and shipped by Amazon.com to your shopping cart
  4. Proceed to checkout and select your Citi Card as the payment method
  5. Select the amount of ThankYou points you would like to use for the purchase (must use at least 1 ThankYou point)
  6. The $20 discount will automatically apply to qualifying items

You just have to use one cent in points to activate the promotion. Don't pay for the entire order using points.

Ex:
Day 1, I shop for $60 on amazon and get $20 off using say 100 thank you points

Day 2, I shop for $80 on amazon and do i get $20 off again for using 100 thank you points ?

This promo doesn't work for me because I've paid with Citi Thank You points before. I'm not going to do it anymore. They take too much. I have 19,439 points which converts into $155.51 on Amazon. That's too much of a loss.

194.39-155.51=38.88 is a 20% loss.
