I chatted with an agent, and this is the response:

"I appreciate your patience. The full amount (including S&H and Tax) for each item is authorized at the time of purchase, before any discounts are applied. The charge will be adjusted with your bank at Midnight EST on the day the order ships (typically within 48-72 hours) when it is posted to your account. Rest assured, the charge will post correctly to your Visa in the amount of $141..."

I just got this bundle from ring for $150 and I personally don't like the camera. It's seems very delayed to pick up motion despite messing with multiple settings and only seems to work about 30' out. I have the ring doorbell pro and the hard wired spotlight cam in my back yard and both have been working great for 2 years. This one was a dud for me...but may work okay to put over your driveway or something. Just lower your expectations if you have other ring products. The solar panel is sufficient to charge the single battery the unit comes with, but it protrudes off your house with a long holder, maybe 5"? Would be much better at 2" or even 1". Maybe I am being picky, just don't love it.

You may have slow internet speeds. I have 1 gbs fiber and now it's instant. Before even at 300 mbps speed it was ok. So it all depend on the speed of your internet and how far away it is from the router.

I clicked on the link. It first stated it was $149, when I added to cart it went up to $169. I refreshed, reopened the browser and now it's $169 (this is all before code)

I owned both and preferred spotlight over stick up cams for better night vision and optical performance. The solar panel can actually charge both batteries so no need to worry the slower solar charging during the winter time.
cool..didn't know it can use two batteries.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I've got a mesh system and getting 150mbs at the camera, connection is solid.
You have to realize that your app test on your mobile device isn't 100% accurate due to the difference of NIC hardware and NIC location in each device. Same concept as if you were standing outside in the same spot with two different mobile devices whether on mobile data(same carrier) or wifi, they're both going to give you different readings. While your cell phone is showing 150 Mbps...the camera may be only getting half that and decent Internet speed up/down at the edge isn't helping. Camera traffic must go out to the cloud and then come back in to your mobile device.

Although I do agree that the motion detection is lacking. I wish Ring will implement the feature where it allows us to customize the motion detection on the whole screen and not just the half nearest to the camera.

All of the battery powered ring cams are like this. The hardwired ones are much better.

Just checked my AMEX account and I did receive the 5.5% credit along with the 10% from Raku.

One question for anyone regarding the Ring Assist+. Did anyone actually see an actual voucher? I got a post card item with information but no claim code or anything was on it. Does this automatically get applied to the account when the device is registered?

Reach out to customer support, they would ask you for order detail etc but would help you add it to your account.

i didn't receive any postcard in the box only the invoice...what does the post card say exactly?

EDIT: hsn has no clue and referred me to ring. checked with ring and they said item would be tagged in their system as including assist+ so it will be activated once item is registered. not sure if i completely believe that but i guess don't have any choice.
