while lone tile 8 x 8 has magnet backing, akin to other w.g. (deals) tiled-frames, à la 4x4 / 6x4, these frames utilize a lot more depth, close to 3/4" ...should you consider affixing to kitchen's refrigerator's door(s) ...it's probably not something one would stick to the front, i.e. parallel w foot traffic, rather, off to one side or the other (on the appliance) .. albeit, in consideration of kitchen's real estates or ymmv

regardless, thanks op!

How's the quality? I bought a 4:x4 magnet frame before it's pretty shitty quality - print put in a cheap plastic frame. 😞

Yes, in cheap plastic frame, so seems about the right price on sale. Photo quality will depend on the quality of photos you submit also.

Has anyone tried changing the photo in these frames?

Bought this with the last deal. Pictures were just okay quality and frames are crappy cheap plastic. For $4 each I couldn't complain but at regular price these are horrible.

I don't understand how this is supposed to stick on the wall.

It looks like there is an adhesive on the magnetic base? Isn't that going to damage the paint on the wall?

For those wondering WTH a TilePix is, like I was:

Quote :
Hang and re-arrange your high-quality prints effortlessly! This modern, no-nail mounting system makes it easy to create a professional-looking memory wall. Snag a set of three and save 25% off the single-tile price. TilePix have a unique Stick&Slide magnetic mounting system that lets you mount and reposition frames without removing them from the wall. For instant hanging, apply the magnetic wall pad to a clean wall, stick the TilePix to the wall pad, and slide to adjust. The magnetic wall pad is removable. Perfect for homes, apartments and dorms where walls cannot be damaged.

Customize with three images (or use the same image for all)

Showcase a full photo, collage layout or border design

Further personalize with text and embellishment options

8x8 glossy print encased in a black resin frame

Dimensions: 8.3x8.3 square (total size including frame); 7.7x7.7 square (visible print area); 0.68 square (depth)

Each includes one magnet wall pad (for clean removal), an embedded magnet on back of frame, and a built-in plastic stand shelf display

Made in the USA

Basically, you get a removable adhesive magnet pad to stick to the wall. Your photo is in a frame which has a portion of the backing that sticks to the magnetic pad. There's also a plastic stand built into the frame, so you can display it on a shelf or table.

Again, they claim the magnetic pad is removable but, as with most adhesives, I wouldn't recommend applying it to freshly painted walls. If you remove the magnetic pad from a wall, I'm not sure how you would magnetically mount the frame to another wall, unless Walgreens sells replacement pads.

I just got them. Looks like you have an adhesive magnetic backing and the photos just stick to the backing.
