Looks like a good deal. I can't find anything on the screen refresh. Probably 60Hz if they don't advertise it?

The spec is terrific for the price, and the Nitro series have been some of the most popular budget gaming laptops. Normally you'd get a 1650 at this price point, so if you were already in the market for a gaming laptop at this price, you just got a pretty big upgrade

Yeah, if it's 60hz that's gonna be a deal breaker for most. Especially when the Gateway had a 2060 and a 120hz display for $650. Still a good find though!

Acer's product page (not the sale listing) for this model number says 144Hz. For people who had a problem with the 9th gen of the last Nitro 5 deal, this is the perfect option. You give up 8GB RAM and a 1TB HDD, but gain a significantly better CPU. This is a nice deal!

Is this the same keyboard as the nitro 5 walmart deal? I had to return the walmart deal because the keyboard was so bad and impossible to type on.

The $699 Walmart one was a Nitro 5, this is a Nitro 7 that has a lot better build quality including a metal case.

This is a different keyboard and being a better line I would hope/think its better. Plus it is a 4 zone RGB back light, i know kids would get a big kick out of it.

Does the power brick plug in on the right or left side of this laptop? I think it's the right side which is different from most laptops which plug in on the left or rear.

If it's like other Nitros, yup! I have a 2018 Nitro 5 and added 8GB RAM and a 1TB HDD to it. Should have dedicated doors for those on the bottom panel which makes upgrades super easy.
