Saw last time and passed on it as I wasn't sure if it was a good deal. How slick is this deal? Are these better than a cheap Amazon Fire Tablet?

It's a true Android tablet with full compatibility with Android apps, rather than the Fire which you either take its junk wares and ads from Amazon ware or have to install the Toolbox to get rid the ads and sideload the Play Store and Service but still not fully compatible (some system libraries can't be sideloaded).
So, up to whether that difference worth a little more.

Would this work ok for extended Skype video calls? Would the 2gb ram be a problem?
