I have this but the Ryzen 4800 version. Typing on it now. Great solid laptop. Super easy to upgrade the SSD and RAM. All ports are in the back so looks really clean. My complaints are that it seems like the ports in the back do not provide enough power for the USB if I connect the USB-C to the monitor and the USB to the monitor to make it a hub. My keyboard and mouse kept getting disconnected/reconnected. Now I don't use the monitor as the hub and it's fine. Probably due to the monitor Dell motitor I have. Also, mine had 3 stuck/dead pixels but Lenovo was quick to send the replacement.

Performance is great with the 4800 CPU. Before this, I bought the exact Intel version and returned for the Ryzen 4800. Can't complain. Games run smoothly in 2160p. Get it and take advantage of the 6% cashback from r a k u 10.

Would of pulled trigger on this for Black Friday, but missed it due to life.

But just this week, ASUS leaks came out of 3000 series in laptops with AMD 5000 series. With CES in Jan, I expect these deals are happening not just because holidays, but its clearing stock. As the Legion 5, 15" with AMD/2060 is no longer listed on Lenovo. Think they phasing out the 4800/2060.

Just a FYI for future buyers.

Looks like a good deal. No thunderbolt port, but 16GB RAM and a 2060.

Best deal this month so far, even better than most of the BF deals if not all.

This is just strictly better than this version, right?
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08BB9R...0FbS1849GB
I got it for $1048.
The i7 with rtx 2060 should have better performance than the ryzen 7 w/ grx 1660ti, right?
Can it still be under volted and have hybrid mode disabled with the intel chip?

Hard to say, Ryzen 4800 > i7 for me, but 1660i < 2060. If you're into computing then get the Ryzen 4800. If you're into gaming then get this.

I guess it's really between the display and the CPU. This deal has the i7 (less ideal compared to the Ryzen 7 4800h) and a 240hz panel up to 500 nits. the one I got has a 144hz panel up to 300 nits display and has the Ryzen 7 4800h. Pretty much the same price. Don't know how to decide what's most important!

The platform specs appear to list 32GB RAM as the maximum. https://psref.lenovo.com/syspool/...H_Spec.PDF

Edit: some redditors report that 64GB RAM is possible.
