Back in stock.
$100 price drop.
Roughly MRSP
3070 - 500 dollars
10700 - 300 dollars
16 gb ram - 60 dollars
PSU - 75 dollars
Case - 60 dollars
Mobo - 150 Dollars
Water AIO - 60 dollars
SSD - 80 dollars
$1265 or so?
Not including the OEM windows, which probably pushes this up by about 80 dollars.
The next lowest model at best buy which is generally not in stock to buy on the website but might be available in the store is the 3700x at 200 dollars less with similar components otherwise, not sure if you'd consider the 10700k 200 dollars more value than 3700x, I think it's more like 50.
Brick and mortar purchase - so returns will be easier than cyberhome itself (which has a history of issues).
similiar machine at cyberpower
https://www.cyberpowerpc.com/syst...l-RTX-3070
ibuypower
https://www.ibuypower.com/Store/G...te-Plus-II
which might be 5% lower with the right coupon codes?
You also get this sooner that most of the other custom systems if it is true you can get it by the 18th of december.
10700k + 3070

Brain fart.
You are a helluva mother!!!
Also, Windows 10 doesn't add that much value to it. If you know where to look, you can get a legit key for Windows 10 Professional for under $10.
I bought a CyberpowrerPC in 2019 and it didn't even make it a month before it blue screened. Even after a full system restore I was getting random blue screen errors. It seems to be a common problem with their gaming PCs.
If you're going to spend $1550, I would suggest watching out for another one of the RTX 3080 deals. That have been at least a couple around this price point, and even though a 3070 is a beast, it's worth it to move up to the 3080.

Cyberpower PC has generally been better than the "old"days, granted you bought this pc last year and I'm sure there are problems with their computer time to time.
That being said, I'm not sure how much as you're literally the first person to post a personal experience like this that I've been in a while.
I imagine they have similar faulty machine rate as any of the major companies do. That being said, I personally remember the history when it was "bad" and hence while Suryasis usually defends cyberpower on a regular basis, I think buying through B&M or another vendor to help with the hassle of getting a lemon is the way to go.
I generally buy with confidence if I go through the major B&M or internet stores that have good customer service / policies.
Also, has anyone noitced the massive sale on cases going on?
I have afeeling that less DIY pcs are being made due to the lack of 30xx's and so all the people like myself who prefer building their own are resorting to prebuilt - I imagine it would be a good time to pick up non time sensitive parts for down the road.
Albeit cases and psu's do change but change over a longer period of time, I wouldn't stock up on ram.

B. It wasn't an "old" purchase. It was 2019. They're still having problems with this according to some peeps I've talked to that had it happen with a recent purchase.
C. I dunno who Suryasis is.
There may be some good PCs that come from them, but I'm not risking it again.
But the way I see it, you can always get a lemon from anyone and it's what the vendors /companies do at that point that matters.
One I received came with
MOBO: Asus Z490 Prime
GPU: MSI RTX 3070 Ventus 3x OC (HUGE CARD!)
Ram: Ballistix CL15 with 3000MHz (8GBx2)
SSD: 1tb SSD ADATA swordfish (disappointment seeing others got wd blues)
Low quality 'gold' 800w psu
Had good luck with very similar build a month prior my gf got as their insta-ship for same price hers was better build and better componets (better gpu, ssd) .
Good thing best buy can return locally.
It could be the drive or the mobo.
I doubt it is the psu, apparently the psu is a rebranded Andyson and considered good from the review
.
