Doesn't seem to be shipping right away (mine was ETA of Jan 7-8).
My total was $459 + $28.69 (6.25% Tax), so $487.69. for the UNLOCKED version of the Google Pixel 4a 5G.

Edit: Some people have said it may require subscribing to Google One for 2 months. Check out their comments
Also opted to trade in my old Pixel 2 128GB for $175 refund/credit.
Edit: This portion of the deal seems to be dead now, so YMMV. Checked Pixel 2 128G trade-in value on Dec 11 and it's down to $47. It was $175 on Dec 10.

Edit: A couple people have pointed out that other stores (Amazon, Best Buy, B&H Photo) have it at the same price of $459 (some without tax). As far as I can tell these don't offer an option to trade in old phone for credit, but if you aren't looking to do that, solid options.
Best Buy [bestbuy.com] ($459.99)
Amazon [amazon.com]
B&H Photo [bhphotovideo.com] (w/ free case)
$499.00
Target [target.com](full price $499, but
$40 GC)
If you bought this phone at a higher price recently, try contacting the store you bought from for an after-the-fact price match/refund. Some people have reported success in the comments.

Thanks a bunch! I got on chat and got the price match. Before placing the order, the chat rep agreed to price match with Amazon. I then placed the order. The rep said that upon checking the order, I was already getting a Red card discount and thus paying the lowest amount. But since he'd already agreed to the price match, he would go ahead and apply the discount.
So it cost $499 - 23 Red card discount - 40 price match - 40 gift card + 36 tax = 432!

Pixel 4a 5g - length not much shorter than the 3 xl when you account for the chin on the 3xl. Width is noticeable smaller. 4a5g fits in 1 hand better (I am med size gloves), but the keyboard is a bit more squish too so I've noticed more typos when texting fast but should be easy to adapt overtime. Screen seems better on the 3xl, higher rez and such. Even though 4a5g is plastic it doesn't feel cheap. Extra ram and memory is nice, no lag so far. Slower processor is not noticeable but I haven't played games yet. Battery life is much improved, despite similar battery sizes. Overall I'd say just a lateral move or a slight upgrade compared to the 3xl. I really like it great bang for buck. Only thing I miss is the wireless charging (c'mon google how much can 2 could cost?). Having headphone jack again and still fingerprint is nice during a pandemic and wearing mask
Pixel 5 - better build but feels similar to 4a5g in hand, aside from. Power button tbh. Slightly smaller but not tiny. 90hz is only noticeable when scrolling fast through IG or FB, etc. Does have a bit more RAM, wireless/reverse wireless charging, and water resistant. Otherwise does not really feel like a worthy $200 premium over the 4a5g.
Pixel 4a 5G - 6.2-inch (158 mm) display, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, FHD+ (1080 x 2340) OLED at 413 ppi
If that helps. I haven't physically held a XR in my hand. There is a VERY faint rumor of google possibly releasing a flagship in March-April but it is unreliable rumors so far so take it with a grain of salt.
Target has it at full price but is offering a $40 gift card.
