You can get 8t+ for free by either 1) adding a line OR 2) trading in an eligible device on the list.
It's very simple.
I went in store about an hour ago to trade a OP7t. I literally pulled up the OP8+ 5G listing on the TMo website and showed her the details. She pulls out a piece of paper and tells me the only way to get that deal is to open a new line. I was in no mood to deal with a rude TMo employee and simply said "good day" and walked.
Got on the phone with TForce supervisor who did the deal for the trade in of the 7t for the 8+.
Would rather have turned in the 7t in person and left with the 8t but the low information TMo employee made that impossible.

I see this in my bill,
"Once your new 8T+ 5G - Lunar Silver - 256GB ships, you'll have 30 days to send back your current OnePlus HD1907 7T 128GB Silver - T-Mobile in good condition to receive a one‑time bill credit of $110.00."
How is the difference between the $110 and the $750 I am supposed to get as a trade show up? I assumed there would be some mention of future month credits.
I'm in the same boat and I'm doing this right now..

Messaged again to t-mobile and the first person must not have been aware of the promo. Second person said I could trade in s9 and not have to add a line. They said I should do it online to avoid the $20 service fee.
