So what's the consensus on the nicest color for the 8T?

I went with the silver as I thought the green one was not as masculineSmilie

LOL!!!!
I was torn but I kind of regret not getting the green. I think it looks kind of badass. Can always put a wrap or case on it

Does it come with a case? I know the 7t came with a clear case.

Does the trade in have to be unlocked ? What if it's Verizon locked? Wife's phone has little screen crack.. would it be acceptable?
Network lock doesn't matter

No. Unfortunately, at least through TMobile, it looks like OnePlus has dropped that popular package feature for the 8T. I don't know if it comes with a case if you purchase directly from OnePlus though

Need some advice. I have 5 lines with 4 of them receiving device credits in EIP. I don't want to upgrade the 5th line since I am still waiting on a $200 BYOD rebate. Do I have any choice to get OnePlus? Would I better off paying off one of the devices (will I continue to get device credits at account level) or add a new line?

I read a lot of folks are trying to upgrade their OnePlus 8 to OnePlus 8T. Is it really worth the upgrade? On paper, the specs aren't much difference between them. We would have to shell out around $70 in tax to upgrade. I'm on the fence and hoping someone shed additional light so I can jump or not, too. TIA.

Just customer care. They had to speak to their supervisor to get it figured out though. At first, the customer service rep told me no. I asked if there was anything that could be done since I had literally just switched to TMobile a week earlier with the 50% off the OnePlus 8T deal. They can't just edit the original contract I signed for the first two phones so they ended up having to add two additional lines to my account with the new deal attached and have me sign off on that. I had to pay taxes on the two new 8Ts again and, just as a part of the prices to make it work, they had to send me two more brand new OnePlus 8Ts (even though we just got ours last week). They emailed me a return label for the first two 8Ts we got. Now, I will take our original sim cards and put them into the two new phones when they arrive and send the old 8Ts back to TMobile. The two new lines they added to my account will be attached to the new sim cards that come with the new 8Ts and those lines will be "suspended" by T-Mobile so they will not add extra cost to my monthly bill.
At the end of the day, my monthly bill will look fudged up from now on with extra lines showing as suspended along with charges and credits left and right. The good news is my monthly bill will drop by any $30/month since I'm not having to pay $15/month/phone anymore. I'll take paying the $150 or so in taxes now over paying $750 more over the next two years.
Like I said, it's a bit jumbled but TMobile definitely went out of their way to take care of me and to take care of my brother and his wife. I switched from Google Fi who, when I joined a few years ago, had the best customer service I had ever experienced. They went way way downhill over the last two years and it is nice to be back with a company that I can get a positive experience out of.
I hope this made sense and can be of some help. Best of luck!
I added a new line on the 9th, this promo started the 11th. I went through FB chat, two supervisors on phone and none of them would budge on the free phone. I have the now grandfathered 55+ plan and added a 3rd line. It's normally only 2 but they offered me a chance to add a 3rd, nothing else included beyond the line. Unfortunately there is no way for me to add any more lines. Super annoying to miss out on getting a free 8t by 48 hours. Mad

Dang, that's an unfortunate situation. Sorry you couldn't find a way to work around it. At least you are still getting a great price on that service!

I bought a oneplus 8 pro + 7T ($799 + $1) during oneplus Black Friday. If you trade in the 7T, T-Mobile is offering free Oneplus 8T+5G. Guess it's a good deal.

No need to add new line of you are already a T-Mobile customer.

I just placed an order with T-Mobile, upgraded my existing phone.

Posting this for anyone who is interested and find this info helpful.
