75hz is a nice and noticeable improvement over 60, but whether it's really important, and whether 144hz 240hz etc is better for you comes down largely to your preferences in the types of games you play. Your system will likely not run many current AAA games at 144fps at 1440p with full graphical settings enabled. It then becomes a matter of whether you want to turn down the details and eye candy in order to get a higher framerate, or accept a lower framerate in order to make the game look better.
Generally if you're playing competitive online games (cs:go, rocket league, etc) the higher 144hz+ framerate is more important. If you're more into story based games like Death Stranding, Assassin's Creed, red dead, etc, 75hz is plenty, as you'll be better off investing your money and GPU resources into making the game look better (in which case better HDR support or higher 4k resolution would be a more important upgrade in a monitor than a higher refresh rate)
Basically, think about what games you want to play, and that will guide you on what monitor features are most important to look for. But as I said above, the strength of this monitor is that it doesn't have any "bad" specs, so for the price it's a good all around option.

Thank you for the reply! I have a i5-6500k and a 1080ti with 16gb of ram. I can run most games pretty high frames. So I'm guessing I should look for a higher hz level monitor.

I don't believe this would pair well with the ps5, currently. 1440 would currently be downgraded to 1080. Ps5 is capable of 120hz.
I've read speculation that 1440 could be added to ps5 someday. In my opinion, 1440, 120hz, and ultrawide would be ideal, but I understand that sony designs it to be plugged into a TV.
Agreed. Get the 144hz version for just under $300 instead
