Here's the rundown:
Bambino — $240
Bambino Plus — $320
Barista Express — $480
Barista Pro — $560
Barista Touch — $720
Oracle Touch — $2,000
Fantastic deals, in my opinion.
My personal experience is with the Bambino Plus, which I think is a great little machine. With this discount you could pair a Bambino or Bambino Plus with a very nice grinder for a total price in the $400 to $600 range. The cool thing about that is you're going to be able to get a much nicer grinder than the one that they put in the Express and the Pro — which is considered the weak link in those particular machines. You're going to hear the experts say again and again that the key to getting good espresso is a nice grinder. I've also never been crazy about having the grinder and the espresso machine combined into one unit. It sorts of limits your flexibility, but that's just me.
Really though, I don't think you can go wrong with any of these machines. It all depends on your budget.
Edit: The Touch is Wirecutter's upgrade recommendation. The steam wand is top notch and that's something I've had issues with in the past with other machines, so I'm sticking with it.

For that price $719, i would already be looking at full auto machines.
if you want to step up and feel superior to the highly rated barista express is to get the ORACLE series. THEN ok you can brag.
But barista touch from barista express aint worth it. It isnt even double broiler. you just paying for touchscrreen and other minor things not worth it.
Either get barista express and save money, or if you really want to pay $700+ get full auto like that one machine that went FP recently
If you're looking for something that's more likely to break, requires less involvement making a drink, and brews inferior coffee, go for the Phillips.

But honestly. I'm lazy af. Just give me coffee better than keurig not at the nespresso prices. My Phillips will pay for itself in 2 years for convenience.
Next machine I get. Two years from now. Will likely be something like this.
