I doubt you got this one for $46. There about a dozen different Snow Joe electric models. This is the top of the line one with a 15a motor and a 21 width.

As for extension cord, if you try pushing serious snow with this, it is going to pull the full 15a, and if you don't have the right type of extension cord, it's going to be power staved, which is bad for the motor and performance. You need a 12 gauge extension cord.

This is a good one at a fair price:

It is pretty typical for snow removal items to go on clearance in the springtime. With that in mind, can we all borrow yours until that happens again?

But how do you like it? What kind of snowstorm does it handle well and what does it struggle with? Would you buy it again?

I watched the clearances in the Spring. Some of the lower-powered inferior ones got pretty cheap. The 15A 21" never went under a hundred and something.

I also got it for around $50, 3 years ago and mine just died during the recent New England storm. I liked it but if the snow is over 5 inches you will have to do more work. Such as tilting the front up a bit and then going over the same spot tilted down. For the price I paid it was worth it for 3years.

If you have heavy wet snow it is still doable, you just have to go slower but it will do the job.
