  2. Add Qualifying Payment Card to your Google Pay Account
  3. Follow On-screen Prompts and accept terms & conditions
  4. Swipe to "Explore" Tab in the App
  5. Scroll until you find the Target offer
  6. Click to Activate the offer
  7. Click Enroll Card
    • You may need to Click Activate again
  8. Spend $50 or more at Target.com or in-store using the payment card enrolled at Google Pay
    • Once the Reward is Earned, it will be deposited to "Your Money" in Google Pay.
    • You may redeem the cash back reward 30 days after your qualifying purchase.

Do NOT use Paypal or anything other than the "Credit Card" option during checkout folks. Using any other form of checkout even funding it via the same credit card is not the same. Make sure you use the same credit card that you enrolled on your Gpay account too.

For those having issues. Yesterday I activated the offer, used my enrolled credit card and checked out on Target.com using said credit card.

I even went to the store to pick up my item that was ready at 11:30pm. Didn't receive any notifications in gpay that I made this purchase.

Today I decided to try again but this time using my enrolled debit card and purchasing a electronic target gift card.


At the bottom of gpay there are 3 tabs. The last one called Insights displays your recent activity.

Now, when I go there, it shows the $50 gift card that I purchased under recent activity. Oddly enough, it does not show my $100 purchase from yesterday. lol

Hopefully, this helps. Try another purchase if you initial purchase doesn't show up on recent activity.

ok got it and bought two nintendo games. I just got the app tihs weekend but how does gpay rewards work? I'm going to have to look into this.

Same! I purchased a Google Wifi point the first go around and now I have an additional $50 gift card. Once the credit shows up in going to return the wifi point and use the $50 gift card to purchase it lol

The $21 offer is only for Target on transactions over $50....You need to activate the offer in GPay...Link your credit or debit card in GPay...go to Target.com or Target App and use the linked credit or debit card to make the purchase...you will see the cashback immediately reflect in Gpay after the transaction is successfully completed...The actual payout is done after 30 days...pretty similar to other cashback sites

I'm about to go to target, and have the offer activated in google pay. Do I just use the linked credit card in store like normal? Or do I have to use google pay at checkout?
