  1. Download Google Pay App (Android or iOS)
  2. Add Qualifying Payment Card to your Google Pay Account
  3. Follow On-screen Prompts and accept terms & conditions
  4. Swipe to "Explore" Tab in the App
  5. Scroll until you find the Target offer
  6. Click to Activate the offer
  7. Click Enroll Card
    • You may need to Click Activate again
  8. Spend $50 or more at Target.com or in-store using the payment card enrolled at Google Pay
    • Once the Reward is Earned, it will be deposited to "Your Money" in Google Pay.
    • You may redeem the cash back reward 30 days after your qualifying purchase.

Do NOT use Paypal or anything other than the "Credit Card" option during checkout folks. Using any other form of checkout even funding it via the same credit card is not the same. Make sure you use the same credit card that you enrolled on your Gpay account too.

No it doesn't. Terms did say $50+. Someone said to restart the Google play app.

Nevermind. In Gpay under the "Pay" tab you should see Target listed under "Businesses".

Click on the Target logo. It shows there that my $50 gc qualified me for the $21 reward which will be credited in 30 days.

I found it. Its more helpful if anyone lists where to go exactly to see the rewards.

For me, my $5 referral reward showed up immediately on the Explore tab.

However, the Target reward shows up on the Pay tab.

I got the Target offer and clicked the link to shop online, purchased $51 gift card.. and then I got a Google Pay notification (accidentally dismissed it) and now the Target offer is gone from the Google Pay. But I still don't see the $21 cashback yet.

So this doesn't stack with the similar $21 referral bonus, right? I referred a person who bought the Target gift card and got the $21 in her account, great. But neither she or I got the $21 from the referral. It seems that's a separate deal and requires a contactless purchase or transfer of $10 or more, rather than the Target deal which works online/in-store without contactless?

It says my discover card is not eligible for enrollment?

The info tab says most Visa, MC, and Amex can be enrolled...

I used code from quick search to sign up and sent referral to my wife. Total $63 gain. Will use the credits to spend on target to get $21 more.

I activated Target offer last night, linked a debit card, and used that linked debit to purchase $50 target GC from phone browser. So far, did not got any Google Pay notification, and didn't see any activities. No sign of my purchase recorded. Not sure what I did wrong. If I tap the card icon on the upper right corner in Google Pay app, it shows add another card and my debit card has "verify now" (contactless icon is not set up). Is this part I missed? Weird is that in Target offer, it showed my linked card is eligible.

Any pointers on how to get the $21 referral bonus? I see all the comments here are around the Target $21 deal which most of us has successfully done.
But how to get the referral bonus. The terms state either pay a friend or do a purchase using NFC payment...any easy workaround to achieve this?
