Steps for Google GSuite users.
This offer only works with the lastest beta version of GPay. However, the latest version of Gpay does not work with GSuite users. You can create a new personal gmail account or use one you already have.
When you get the prompt that this version does not support GSuite, choose the option to switch accounts and enter your non GSuite gmail. Once installed, add a qualifying credit or debit card to Gpay then activate the Target $21 offer and make sure it's attached to the card.
The new Gpay app will have a seperate icon so make sure you are going to the right Gpay app.
Follow the link to Target or just go to Target.com and buy something $50 or more and checkout using the attached credit or debit card. I bought 2x Home Depot cards at $25 each. Once checkout was completed, I got the reward confirmation immediately on the app.

Why are people sending money around?
Then came to Slickdeals and saw the requirement is now $10. Had her send the $10 30mins after the initial $1. Immediately credited for the reward.
I still have not received any notification of the 21$ reward or it showing up in transaction list. I doubled checked the card and my chase freedom is attached to the offer.
Restarted phone and the app multiple times along with making a second 50$ purchase and no dice.
Any other ideas? Should I unlink and relink a card? I feel like doing a third 50$ transaction is start to get up there...
Hey so a data point...
I didn't get the offer to work twice on the card I already had on google pay. I added another chase card I had not previously added to google pay. Set it as my default contactless payment and then did the offer again with 51$ amount. Got the 21$ instantly.
Maybe something to do with enrollment of the old cards on account setup? I used the old google pay app a lot for contactless payment and that was the card I tired to use the first two transactions.
The 51$ thing doesn't matter as my two previous tries were 50$ and 55$... First two transactions were a target gift card and then starbucks. Third and final working transaction was target gift card. All email delivery.
Edit:
I also removed the original freedom card that didn't work and re added it to google pay app. I can add the card but when i try to activate offers it says it is associated with another account... Not sure if this issue will clear up if I stop fiddling with it all.

For target you get a notification instantly after your purchase and then it's pending for 30 days. I did the referral with my wife and it takes about a day for the $21
