  1. Download Google Pay App (Android or iOS)
  2. Add Qualifying Payment Card to your Google Pay Account
  3. Follow On-screen Prompts and accept terms & conditions
  4. Swipe to "Explore" Tab in the App
  5. Scroll until you find the Target offer
  6. Click to Activate the offer
  7. Click Enroll Card
    • You may need to Click Activate again
  8. Spend $50 or more at Target.com or in-store using the payment card enrolled at Google Pay
    • Once the Reward is Earned, it will be deposited to "Your Money" in Google Pay.
    • You may redeem the cash back reward 30 days after your qualifying purchase.

Do NOT use Paypal or anything other than the "Credit Card" option during checkout folks. Using any other form of checkout even funding it via the same credit card is not the same. Make sure you use the same credit card that you enrolled on your Gpay account too.

Running into the same issue as others. Signed up for Google Pay, enrolled in the rewards program, activated the Target offer, purchased a $50 GC with the enrolled card, and received nothing. Interestingly enough, Target is not in my list of activated offers for some reason, which I suspect is ultimately the issue we're having.

I clicked on someone's referral, it took me to Google play, installed and downloaded the app. Signed up. Did I do it right for the $21 referral?

Sounds right; you'll need to send $10 to someone or use Google Pay to purchase something $10or more.

The target cash back is a hit or miss. Worked instantly on my account, but even with two attempts and doing everything right, no cash back shows up on my wife's account. We both got the referral credit though.

I got the notification from Google Pay once I purchased target gift card of $50.01 from target through the link. And I also paid with the linked card from Google Pay.
However, I did not get my money yet like the $21 referral promos.
I only got the notification that I got $21 from target promo.

I think a similar issue is happening for me, except the activated offer is still showing up

i read up on FB group, some Target gift card balance gets stolen as it gets activated. (cuz ppl saving them for opening up at xmas.) Probably a good idea to redeem it asap.

Just tried again with a completely different card (set as default so it would show up as the enrolled card) and still nothing. I submitted a ticket but I'm not expecting much help from Google.

Worked for me, ordered $50 Target e-giftcard and a notification for a pending $21 rewards credit showed up in GPay after about 5-10 minutes. Using the tabs located at the bottom in GPay, make sure you're in the left-most tab and the $21 rewards notification should show up at the top of the screen, at least it did for me. Thanks for the heads up OP.
