Steps for Google GSuite users.
This offer only works with the lastest beta version of GPay. However, the latest version of Gpay does not work with GSuite users. You can create a new personal gmail account or use one you already have.
When you get the prompt that this version does not support GSuite, choose the option to switch accounts and enter your non GSuite gmail. Once installed, add a qualifying credit or debit card to Gpay then activate the Target $21 offer and make sure it's attached to the card.
The new Gpay app will have a seperate icon so make sure you are going to the right Gpay app.
Follow the link to Target or just go to Target.com and buy something $50 or more and checkout using the attached credit or debit card. I bought 2x Home Depot cards at $25 each. Once checkout was completed, I got the reward confirmation immediately on the app.

Same, I had to use my chase freedom card
Update: Went to Target store, activated bonus in the app, bought $50 Visa GC (+$5 fees), made payment through NFC, instant notification of $21 cashback (available in 30 days though)
Now to figure out how to get the $$ out. Wonder if you can use a refillable debit card?

Anyways I signed up through Google Pay for this promo on my phone, then used my desktop PC to order a $50 Google Pay gift card with the enrolled card. The $21 reward showed up in the Explore section of the Google Pay app a few minutes later. Gotta love when these billion dollar corporations give back some of the money they've made off us, anyone remember Bing cashback?
Same here except I havent received the GPay notification and its been about 8 hours. I used the same card that I registered and offer was already activated.
Edit: Decided that it probably wasn't going to work so I purchased a $50 Target gift card. Got an immediate notification from Gpay.
