  1. Download Google Pay App (Android or iOS)
  2. Add Qualifying Payment Card to your Google Pay Account
  3. Follow On-screen Prompts and accept terms & conditions
  4. Swipe to "Explore" Tab in the App
  5. Scroll until you find the Target offer
  6. Click to Activate the offer
  7. Click Enroll Card
    • You may need to Click Activate again
  8. Spend $50 or more at Target.com or in-store using the payment card enrolled at Google Pay
    • Once the Reward is Earned, it will be deposited to "Your Money" in Google Pay.
    • You may redeem the cash back reward 30 days after your qualifying purchase.

Do NOT use Paypal or anything other than the "Credit Card" option during checkout folks. Using any other form of checkout even funding it via the same credit card is not the same. Make sure you use the same credit card that you enrolled on your Gpay account too.

I think when you enroll your card on gpay, you have to use that card enrolled to get the offer to work. There is no gpay option at target online so I assume this is how it works.

Can someone confirm if they have checked out on a desktop and it still triggers the credit? Do you have to go through Gpay or can you potentially stack CB sites?

Make sure the credit card shows up in Payment Methods without any issue while enrolling. It will show an error in red or list the issue. I had one credit card showing that the card issuer wanted me to validate. Called the card issuer to validate. Card issuer allowed it to proceed. The card was then fully enrolled with no messages under Payment Methods.

Bought $50 gift card in store using an enrolled credit card. Used contactless (NFC) to pay which should also fulfill the separate Google Pay referral bonus. The$21 bonus will show on your Explore tab under Total Rewards with the Target red circle picture with a small clock indicating that it will be available in 30 days.

I am not getting the reward. Made a $50 purchase at Target 3 hours ago and nothing. Had the offer activated first, restarted app, but nothing.
