  1. Download Google Pay App (Android or iOS)
  2. Add Qualifying Payment Card to your Google Pay Account
  3. Follow On-screen Prompts and accept terms & conditions
  4. Swipe to "Explore" Tab in the App
  5. Scroll until you find the Target offer
  6. Click to Activate the offer
  7. Click Enroll Card
    • You may need to Click Activate again
  8. Spend $50 or more at Target.com or in-store using the payment card enrolled at Google Pay
    • Once the Reward is Earned, it will be deposited to "Your Money" in Google Pay.
    • You may redeem the cash back reward 30 days after your qualifying purchase.

Do NOT use Paypal or anything other than the "Credit Card" option during checkout folks. Using any other form of checkout even funding it via the same credit card is not the same. Make sure you use the same credit card that you enrolled on your Gpay account too.

Doing it with a referral is no different from referring someone by your own. You can refer up to 3x for $21 each.

Ok so neither the $50 eGC or physical item I ordered from Target kicked the $21 reward through. Used same card linked and says offer is actives. No idea what's wrong!

I bought $50 Lowe's GC from target.com and got the notification of $21 cashback instantly. My husband bought $50 target GC but did not get the notification right away. After closing the app and reopened it, $21 cashback is there.

Just make sure during the checkout, you need to use the same credit card which you registered to make the google pay rewards eligible.

So I FINALLY got this to work on a third item. I added a different card to be used that said was eligible and used the first two times... neither worked and so I went back to the original card and finally the $21 showed up!

If myself and my wife are both doing this for target do we need two different target online accounts ? Or can I just add the cc I set up for her Google pay to the target account I already have even though my name is on the target account?

When I open Gpay, I go to the Explore page (bottom left icon in app) and it shows me, "Total rewards" and $21.

However, it says available in 30 days when I tap on it.

Both my husband and I share the same target account. But to get TWO $21 cashback you have to have two google pay accounts with two different credit cards with different names.

It works for us. Both my husband and I have got the notifications for the cashback.

It is not in your gpay since the rewards will be available after 30days.

Try to close the app and reopen it. You should be able to see it or click Explore (bottom left icon in app)
