  1. Download Google Pay App (Android or iOS)
  2. Add Qualifying Payment Card to your Google Pay Account
  3. Follow On-screen Prompts and accept terms & conditions
  4. Swipe to "Explore" Tab in the App
  5. Scroll until you find the Target offer
  6. Click to Activate the offer
  7. Click Enroll Card
    • You may need to Click Activate again
  8. Spend $50 or more at Target.com or in-store using the payment card enrolled at Google Pay
    • Once the Reward is Earned, it will be deposited to "Your Money" in Google Pay.
    • You may redeem the cash back reward 30 days after your qualifying purchase.

Do NOT use Paypal or anything other than the "Credit Card" option during checkout folks. Using any other form of checkout even funding it via the same credit card is not the same. Make sure you use the same credit card that you enrolled on your Gpay account too.

I've seen this asked a couple of times and I think I have an answer. It appears when using the PayPal key which is a MasterCard in design this does not work. When I use the actual PayPal MasterCard it credited properly to my Google pay. Hope that helped someone and saves them the money and trouble

I went into a Target store and bought a $25 Google Play physical gift card (I heart Android) and other items to reach the $50 minimum. I paid with my phone using the G Pay app. The $21 rewards showed up in the app within minutes. I got a bonus $2.50 in rewards.

Only if you buy something in store using NFC to pay $10 or more. Online target order will not trigger both offers.

I have the same question. Just signed up using a referral and activated the Target offer. If I make a $50 purchase instore using NFC (google pay app), will I get $21+$21 in rewards?

Both my husband and I got the target $21 cashback notification right after the order. But a few hours passed nothing about the referral rewards.

Does the online purchase count or you have to transfer $10+ to your friend?
