  1. Download Google Pay App (Android or iOS)
  2. Add Qualifying Payment Card to your Google Pay Account
  3. Follow On-screen Prompts and accept terms & conditions
  4. Swipe to "Explore" Tab in the App
  5. Scroll until you find the Target offer
  6. Click to Activate the offer
  7. Click Enroll Card
    • You may need to Click Activate again
  8. Spend $50 or more at Target.com or in-store using the payment card enrolled at Google Pay
    • Once the Reward is Earned, it will be deposited to "Your Money" in Google Pay.
    • You may redeem the cash back reward 30 days after your qualifying purchase.

Do NOT use Paypal or anything other than the "Credit Card" option during checkout folks. Using any other form of checkout even funding it via the same credit card is not the same. Make sure you use the same credit card that you enrolled on your Gpay account too.

I have not get reward even my item is shipped, I use yahoo email on target account and Gmail for gpay. For those people did not get reward, are you using Gmail for purchase gift card? For those people who got reward, if you using email other than Gmail please reply . Thanks

Email should not matter. I use an old hotmail account for target, and got the reward almost immediately (bought an e-gift card).

I logged in into my Target account which is associated with outlook. I purchased gift cards of $50 twice thinking I might not have activated Target offer initially. I used same credit card which I had linked with google pay. I still do not see any cash back.

By immediately, do you mean you got the actual $21 reward already? Or just notification that you made a purchase that qualified for the reward and will get it in 30 days?

instantly had message popup on phone "congrats, you have earned cashback. your reward will be credited once the transaction is verified"

I ordered a eBay gift card. Show i spend 50 but no reward yet.


Nvm got it a hour after. It say rewarded in December 19, available in 30 days.

I placed a wrong order for few items with shipping. Credit showed up Does any one what will happen to the credit if I cancel and reorder items with same card?

edit: never mind. I cannot cancel the other.

Assuming one can get the $21 referral bonus by either making a Google Pay in a store or by sending $10+ payment to someone? Can one use Google Pay in store/Target on an iPhone (with NFC), or Google Pay in store only works on an Android NFC phone?
