  1. Download Google Pay App (Android or iOS)
  2. Add Qualifying Payment Card to your Google Pay Account
  3. Follow On-screen Prompts and accept terms & conditions
  4. Swipe to "Explore" Tab in the App
  5. Scroll until you find the Target offer
  6. Click to Activate the offer
  7. Click Enroll Card
    • You may need to Click Activate again
  8. Spend $50 or more at Target.com or in-store using the payment card enrolled at Google Pay
    • Once the Reward is Earned, it will be deposited to "Your Money" in Google Pay.
    • You may redeem the cash back reward 30 days after your qualifying purchase.

Do NOT use Paypal or anything other than the "Credit Card" option during checkout folks. Using any other form of checkout even funding it via the same credit card is not the same. Make sure you use the same credit card that you enrolled on your Gpay account too.

You need to activate the offer in the app first. Make sure its the new google pay app. Then in the $ icon in the bottom right it rates you to show "your money". Sorry if you already did this and still don't see it.

This is correct the promo won't activate until one card is enrolled in the option to receive 'linked offers' , not just the 'earn rewards on qualifying actions'.

You can unenroll anytime, but I guess my apprehension is do they just get every transaction on that card you ever made?

So I didn't get any sort of notification, but when I open the app again to the "explore" tab, it shows Total Rewards and I see the pending $21. I just ordered a $51 gift card about 5 minutes ago.

I bought a $50 GC and nothing. Then I thought maybe I forgot to activate the offer and added it again. It is a little confusing in that even after activating it it shows under "Google Pay Favorites" with a "+" rather than saying it is already activated. If you scroll down it shows under "Your Activated Offers". After I was sure I activated it I bought another $50 GC. Still nothing showing after 20 minutes in the app. It says my Google Pay Balance is $0 and no Target purchase shows.

I got both giftcards via email.
