  1. Download Google Pay App (Android or iOS)
  2. Add Qualifying Payment Card to your Google Pay Account
  3. Follow On-screen Prompts and accept terms & conditions
  4. Swipe to "Explore" Tab in the App
  5. Scroll until you find the Target offer
  6. Click to Activate the offer
  7. Click Enroll Card
    • You may need to Click Activate again
  8. Spend $50 or more at Target.com or in-store using the payment card enrolled at Google Pay
    • Once the Reward is Earned, it will be deposited to "Your Money" in Google Pay.
    • You may redeem the cash back reward 30 days after your qualifying purchase.

Do NOT use Paypal or anything other than the "Credit Card" option during checkout folks. Using any other form of checkout even funding it via the same credit card is not the same. Make sure you use the same credit card that you enrolled on your Gpay account too.

Worked for me. Used PayPal virtual card linked to chase freedom for 5% CB, shopped through a CB portal, and bought a $50 Target gc. As soon as I completed the transaction I got a pop-up notification that the offer had been triggered.

No you do not have to, you just need to make sure you use the same credit card and that it is linked and verified to work. Personally I think I would use the link just for peace of mind but several people have reported that you dont need to.

I created a second account to refer myself for nothing. I thought I was getting $21 for being referred and $21 from Target purchase plus $21 in my referral account. Why do people try to refer each other on this thread? Confused

I did it this way too and it worked. Search for Target in the Google Pay App and the transaction and credit will show up there.

I've received one of three referral $21 rewards. It seems spotty at the moment. I've opened two tickets w/ Google support about it.

Idk if it's worth the hassle or not. The referral rewards do not seem to be automatic as they should be.
