  1. Download Google Pay App (Android or iOS)
  2. Add Qualifying Payment Card to your Google Pay Account
  3. Follow On-screen Prompts and accept terms & conditions
  4. Swipe to "Explore" Tab in the App
  5. Scroll until you find the Target offer
  6. Click to Activate the offer
  7. Click Enroll Card
    • You may need to Click Activate again
  8. Spend $50 or more at Target.com or in-store using the payment card enrolled at Google Pay
    • Once the Reward is Earned, it will be deposited to "Your Money" in Google Pay.
    • You may redeem the cash back reward 30 days after your qualifying purchase.

Do NOT use Paypal or anything other than the "Credit Card" option during checkout folks. Using any other form of checkout even funding it via the same credit card is not the same. Make sure you use the same credit card that you enrolled on your Gpay account too.

So I paid for the Target GC with the same card in GPay, and now the offer is gone in GPay but no confirmation I received it? GPay is showing a $51 Target transaction? Where do I confirm in the app it's pending?

Dont think you understand the referral promo. She needs to either 1) Send $10 to someone via Gpay, she can send it to you (must have debit card saved to payments to send money to other people) OR 2) make an NFC payment so unless the $15 Starbucks was NFC it would not have triggered the $21 referrals.

It show be there on first tab itself. Restart the app

You misunderstood. She needs to pay $10 by sending to someone through gpay, OR making $10+ instore purchase using NFC for the referral. For the Target bonus, she needs to spend $50 after having activated the promo in google pay. These are 2 separate offers, and what you did doesn't trigger either offer.

Worked with my PayPal key card (used chase freedom through that to get 5% back). Bought $60 worth of iTunes, eShop, and Xbox gift cards. Got $15% off one of the gaming gift cards (Target deal going on).

Total spent after rewards and credit card cash back will be around $32.20.

I also invited a friend to the app and had them send me $11 with their debit card. We both got $21 pending in cash back. Super super slick!

This. Just have her send you $10. Did that with my wife and two friends and worked perfect. Got $63
