  1. Download Google Pay App (Android or iOS)
  2. Add Qualifying Payment Card to your Google Pay Account
  3. Follow On-screen Prompts and accept terms & conditions
  4. Swipe to "Explore" Tab in the App
  5. Scroll until you find the Target offer
  6. Click to Activate the offer
  7. Click Enroll Card
    • You may need to Click Activate again
  8. Spend $50 or more at Target.com or in-store using the payment card enrolled at Google Pay
    • Once the Reward is Earned, it will be deposited to "Your Money" in Google Pay.
    • You may redeem the cash back reward 30 days after your qualifying purchase.

The deal can be triggered when purchasing a gift card.

Do NOT use Paypal or anything other than the "Credit Card" option during checkout folks. Using any other form of checkout even funding it via the same credit card is not the same. Make sure you use the same credit card that you enrolled on your Gpay account too.

Only if they buy using in store and using NFC on android. Otherwise simply transfer $10 to each other

They can just send $10 to someone. A target purchase would only trigger it if it's instore via NFC payment. Not through their website.

Sending someone $10 is easier. Just be sure it's someone who will send it back.

it says that if I refer someone, I can also get $15 when they get their $15. What's the limit on a referral? I posted the referral link to my face book, hopefully, I get a bite there.

Signed up with some random referral I googled and sent $10 to my mother. Instantly got the $21 (although now the $10 I sent her is stuck in her GPay acc because she has no way to withdraw it or no eligible cards to link...).

Purchased $25 Target GC and $25 Starbucks GC for email delivery -- instantly got the $21 there too.


So $60 bucks got me $50 in gift card and $42 in G Pay balance.

I referred 2 people in my house and the signed up but they had used google shopping past and i am not sure if referral was attached. But I got 3 accounts with Phone Number A, B and C. A referred B & C. When B tries to send money to C, its just giving option to invite C to google pay and not pay them.

I think I screwed up trying to enroll an old card. My new card has the same account number but a new expiration date. I can't enroll it now.
