A few hours but still don't see $21 in my GPay account. Could it be because the item sold and shipped by a Target third party merchant on Target.com? Of course I activated the offer in GPay and paid with the enrolled card, not Red card.
Also try restarting the app

Signed up with some random referral I googled and sent $10 to my mother. Instantly got the $21 (although now the $10 I sent her is stuck in her GPay acc because she has no way to withdraw it or no eligible cards to link...)
Just link your debit card in her GPay account. Then "transfer out" under Google Pay balance in the far right tab using that linked debit card. You'll lose 1.5% (minimum of $0.31) in the process, but it's instant. Totally worth it though.

Just did this w/ my 12 y/o's Google account.

I guess you can try that only if the names and addresses on those accounts are different. Pretty sure they would have put a rule to identify duplicates at least by name for that address.

Yes, just sign up using the referral link.
Then you go to Explore, check the offers.

Add the Target offer to your GPay account, add a valid credit card. And complete that one by buying say $50 Target GC.
Google request that you link a bank account, a credit card, and sign you agree they monitor your banking and credit card transactions so they can make you offers

Who would in their right mind agree to any company to get access and updates for their bank accpunt?
Credit card account?
Why would you entrust Goodle with this?

and for $21?

The wrold lost its mind...

Go to target web/app, add another payment method. On purchase review screen, you can edit payment method.

Cashback applied in 30 days.

On GPAY after buying something from target, you should see the Target logo under businesses. Click that and you should have a notification that the cashback will be applied in 30 days.

I agree linking a bank account/debit card has it's risks.
However I assume many of the people are anyways saving their credit card details on various less secure sites.
With the multi factor authentication like biometrics, the risk in these kinds of pay are worth taking for some of us like me.

Using credit card to make a purchase is one thing, and has its risk.

But g pay ask you to sign you agree tehy can review all your other credit card transactions!

and all your banking line by line activities - WHY????

and why would anyone agree?

Unless when you are offered $21 you dont read what you authorize them to do, and click OK?

You sign you agree they can regularly review ALL your charges on your credit card, not only what you do with them/ target

and you allow them to review ALL your banking activity - ALL

Why would you sign this?

Did you read what you agree to? or $21 too strong of a temptation?

There is also nothing saying you can't unlink all of your info after you redeem these rewards.

Tons of ppl will probably do just that.
