  2. Add Qualifying Payment Card to your Google Pay Account
  3. Follow On-screen Prompts and accept terms & conditions
  4. Swipe to "Explore" Tab in the App
  5. Scroll until you find the Target offer
  6. Click to Activate the offer
  7. Click Enroll Card
    • You may need to Click Activate again
  8. Spend $50 or more at Target.com or in-store using the payment card enrolled at Google Pay
    • Once the Reward is Earned, it will be deposited to "Your Money" in Google Pay.
    • You may redeem the cash back reward 30 days after your qualifying purchase.

Do NOT use Paypal or anything other than the "Credit Card" option during checkout folks. Using any other form of checkout even funding it via the same credit card is not the same. Make sure you use the same credit card that you enrolled on your Gpay account too.

I've searched the thread for "old" and don't really see the answer. I have been using whatever the old app or older version of the app is for a while. Does anyone know if I can get the other $21 bonus when switching to the "new" app. I've heard it both ways.


EDIT: just went ahead and did it and in case it helps somebody else, this still works!

I placed order online by spending $53 but target cancel one of my order items and the final amount became $47 at the time I pickup my order in store. Do I still verify for this $21 cashback???

Totally didn't work with my MasterCard. It worked with my VISA card though.

Rebooting my phone was the trick! Refreshing the google app wasn't enough.

After restarting my phone, and going into Google Pay/Explore, the $21 in earned rewards is showing.

This is on a Motorola Android.

What's the qualifying $10 thing for the referral bonus? Must send money to someone or can also just make a $10 purchase?

thanks. yes, got that to work. thought gpay would come into the picture during the check out process. in fact, all i needed to do is to use the same credit card that's activated in the promotion. this is hopefully helpful for others who might have the same issue.

Paid with my enrolled and eligible Master card. Did NOT work. Created a support ticket, but reviews of the app seem quite negative in general. Not surprised. Hopefully they will honor it after processing my support ticket...

Thanks OP, got $21 reward in like couple of minutes for buying $50 target eGC. Used costco credit card that was enrolled, some reason mastercard doesnt seem to be enrolling.
