Take note this sensor is really crap. I consider it barely a toy with little practical use.
Scene Dynamic Range -20 °C – 120 °C
Top limit is very low. Limits a lot of uses. For example, you cannot measure the temperature of a fry pan or grease. Looking at engines or exhaust systems is not possible.
Frame Rate 8.7Hz
Things in motion, even slowly, will not show cleanly.
Thermal Resolution 80x60
Barely enough to tell what point is hot or cold. This tiny resolution is a big problem.
Looking at something like a door for air leaks will average such a big area you will things. So you end up having to point at the entire frame up close and slowly, a tiny bit at a time..
Looking for water intrusion could be impossible. You would spend days looking at tiny areas and might miss a wide spot of trouble.
Finding a hot circuit component could be impossible because the focus will blur when you are close enough to differentiate parts from each other.
Searching a field for a lost pet might not even show up anything if not really close. Everything far away will be a blob of unclear colors.

While I _sort of_ agree with the above about overall pixel count, the move up the Pro model does quadruple the count. However, in this price range, it's almost impossible to find a greater density.
For most of your standard uses, 80x60 is indeed sufficient, for most household tasks, and in fact, even for a lot of heating/air. It seems low at first, but it's not, until, as the poster noted, you're attempting far away.
With that said, it's actually $149 NOW, with $50 off, making it $99!
That's impulse-buy steal territory, and 50% off Amazon give or take. Well worth it at that price.

Thanks for the input. I too almost order it. I am going to hire contractors to renovate my older home that needs a lot of work, walls, windows, roof, insulation. Actually a lot tasks you mentioned As a home owner that want to do a lot of renovation (hire contractor), what alternative one would you recommend, the Pro version of this? Since I don't use it as much as a contractor. Thanks.

Again, I see a lot of people looking at the advice of the poster who said it was a toy. And while, fundamentally, nothing that they said is actually incorrect whatsoever, I highly recommend doing a bit of homework. Go watch some YouTube videos of real actual use of this exact model. You'll actually find that it is quite a bit more useful than this post implies.
Don't get me wrong, if you plan to use it often, or professionally, get the Pro ($400), or even better, a purpose-built IR camera. But, with that said, the Gen 3 is still quite useful in its own right (I have no skin in the game, for $99 you really can't go wrong here).
Seek makes a better IR camera overall it seems, based on most thinking, but the Pro is also quite nice.
Be aware of the limitations of this, as correctly posted, the top limit is about ~250F. But for finding air leaks in your home, breaker box analysis, etc, it will do most of that quite effectively. Please do go ahead and go to YouTube and look at some use case.
But also, move up or move on if you plan to use this professionally, or commonly. This isn't for you, and you absolutely should take the advice of slipperyslicker....
