- This has 8GB soldered + 8GB DIMM Module. You can replace the 8GB module with a 32GB one to get up to 40GB of total memory. the 8GB + 8GB portion of the 32GB module will still run in Dual Channel (Flex Mode).
- The Display is 300 nits Glossy with 100% sRGB Color gamut

Now regarding performance, 4700U is a very powerful processor if you are planning to run applications which can take advantages of all the cores. For example, large excel number calculations, Video Encoding, rendering workloads, Encryption and Decryption, Compression , Huge Code Compilation etc. will run better than i7-1165G7. Also, the latest release of Adobe Premiere Pro 14.4 beta has added support for VEGA integrated graphics and combined with 8 Core CPU + VEGA 7 Graphics, now the performance is close to Intel Offerings which normally had an advantages due to Intel QuickSync support in Premier Pro. Check the 1165G7 vs Ryzen 4000 review in YouTube Channel Hardware Unboxed. So, if you're planning to use applications of those kinds, may be the 4700U based Envy is a better choice.
Now, regarding Intel Tiger Lake i7-1165G7...it has almost 15% better single threaded performance, when configured with 28W TDP dynamically. That leads to advantage in lightly threaded applications like Web Browsers, JavaScript performance, normal Office documentation works, Adobe based Photo editing apps etc. Also, the Iris XE Graphics with 96 EU is almost equivalent to a dedicated MX350 graphics card and it is 10% to 20% faster than VEGA 7 based on the type of games and applications.
Along with that, you will get Thunderbolt 4 support which may be crucial to lot of users, for connecting tons of devices like multiple 4K displays, Docks, Hubs etc + the external Graphics card dock with a dedicated Desktop card for gaming.
So they have the yoga series which I thought was exclusively 2 in 1s then they release the yoga slim debunking that theory.
They also decide to release the thinkbooks but now we have a yoga thinkbooks?
As well as yoga thinkpads?

This particular model is more or less based on Yoga 7i model but it has far more number of USB ports, HDMI port, user upgradable Ram and weights a bit higher.
So they have the yoga series which I thought was exclusively 2 in 1s then they release the yoga slim debunking that theory.
They also decide to release the thinkbooks but now we have a yoga thinkbooks?
As well as yoga thinkpads?
I mean why not just call this a flex?
