Why buy these? I've bought knockoffs for years and they've been great.

There are better deals on larger packs, including the best rated Cross Action. E.g.

https://www.amazon.com/Braun-Oral...B00L5M275I

or if you want the latest version:

Yup, avoid the german 'original' packages, almost a guaranteed fake. But thats what happens when you sell a brush head for $5, which would get you 12 genuine full size colgate/other brand toothbrushes, the markup on oral-b and sonicare heads are insane.

So what is the solution for us consumers? :/

I've even received knockoffs when Amazon was the seller. Best to avoid buying electric toothbrush heads from Amazon altogether.

My understanding is Amazon mixes stock between themselves and 3rd party sellers, so you're not even guaranteed genuine when sold by Amazon.com.

I bought knockoffs for the first time the other day after seeing how ridiculous the markup on these stupid little brush heads are. The bristles don't feel the same but they make my teeth feel as clean as the originals, nice smooth and fresh etc.

Not a dentist but I'll stick with the knockoffs. Got 4 for $7 or so.

They feel the same and are 1/10th the price. The ones with the flossers are really good.
