I can confirm the Tello number works.

Just went to the corporate store in Dallas near the DFW airport. Ported in 1 number from Visible, 1 from Tello and get 2 LG Stylo 6 and 2 Moto Stylus. The total price is $100.

I got a LG stylo 6 with this offer. I tried to use the metro sim on my old device. It doesnot get recognised. How do I use my new sim on old device. Also if it works on my old device, can I keep the new device without sim until it gets unlocked automatically after 6 months

I just need to rant even though this thread has been neutered and mostly due to my naivety with Metro. I attempted to sell one of my phones from this deal (Samsung A21) and met this person at a corporate Metro location. The Metro rep informed this individual that my account is linked to the phone and they could not unlink my account from the phone. We then called Metro CS and had a nice lady try to remove my account from the phone. Apparently I could not remove my account until next weeks. Seems there's a 21-day cooling period before you can deactivate your account. Thankfully Metro allowed me to move my current line to a unlocked phone with another carrier, then finally allowed the buyer to associate his sim to the newly purchased phone. All in all took about 45 minutes in a freezing parking lot in the dark. I wish I would've known all these non-customer friendly policies when I first signed up for this deal. Granted I got a decent price ($140), but still frustrating. End rant.

That's why we suggested to move the SIM from new device to unlocked which will remove the device from your account by default. Glad you made it.

To avoid confusion:

It is my understanding that a Metro rep will need to be involved.
You must tell them the number u are calling about and give the Metro rep the imei of the new device (preferably unlocked) you are transferring that number/sim to.

Then only will the imei of the first device be unlinked .
