For size 5, this brings the price per diaper to 24 cents, which happens to be the normal price for Kirkland brand diapers. So unless you're sold on Huggies (Kirkland is just as good IMO), this is lukewarm at best.
FYI, Kirkland diapers are made by huggies.
Unless you have a preemie or very small baby, you don't need a ton of newborn diapers. All three of my normal sized children grew out of newborn in weeks. Size 1 can fit on any normal size newborn from 8-14 pounds, so I'd recommend skipping the Newborn altogether or limiting how many you buy and stocking up on size 1.
Size 4 is the other size that my kids seemed to be in for around a year.

My kids wear both brands fine and I stock up whenever I see deal on either Kirkland or Huggies in Costco. It's just an individual preference, but Huggies price won't go below this is my observation for the past couple of years. For instance, Kirkland vitamins will almost always be cheaper than name brands. Buyers are there for both and buy based on their need and preference.

Fully agree - clearly there's a market for Huggies or they wouldn't exist. My point is more for people like me that don't consider Huggies any better than Kirkland.

They're both great brands but they do fit a little different so some may leak in one brand but not another at certain weights. We lucked out and were able to use Kirkland brand (or whatever was cheapest) all the way for our first. This is a good price for this product.
My wife and I like the Huggies for smaller babies up to size 2ish because the poop pocket comes more in handy. Our oldest wears 5 now, and the Kirkland brand are fine at that size. Thanks OP.

I have no evidence of this, but I do think they might be the same.
KS brand when on sale at $10 off per box is the best deal.

Comply agree, was sold on huggies until we tried the Kirkland brand and they are an exact copy almost.
