Your best bet is to just buy a new cord. It's safer and about the same price. They're usually a c8 cord.

I only use these on low voltage DC
Not with 10-12 awg.
I wonder if these are as crappy as the old Harbor Freight ones. They're ok for indoor use, but use them on anything outdoors (vehicles, trailers, etc) and the connectors will become brittle within a year and fall apart when you touch them.

Using the code, which is for 25% off, yields a price of $7.49, and not $6.99.
$10 - 25% = $7.50.

Still, a good price for this many 1/4" quick connectors (6.43mm = 1/4").

Can these be used on TV electrical cords? My foster dog chewed my power cord in half and would love to find something safe to use to reconnect the two ends.

Why do you prefer tinned copper over brass?

What do people use the 10-12 awg for? I use the red 22-18 all the time and blue on occasion.
