I was considering these and would grab a pair at this price, but I just bought the FIIL T1 XS for $60 after doing some research on Head-Fi. I'm really happy with the T1 XS so i'd recommend checking them out for more than half the price of these. If the Sennheiser brand gives you more peace of mind, well I can't fault you there.

I just bought these yesterday based off of the review at scarbir.com. They arrive tomorrow, so I can't speak to how they sound myself yet, but yesterday there was a 20% off coupon - which sweetened the deal of course!

Those T1XS don't mention aptx, I've had bad experience with generic "low latency" modes.
I recently bought the earfun free pro as I heard it was a little better than the FIIL. The Sennheiser is good. Just lacks bass and let's in a lot of wind noise if you happen to walk with them. Get them if you plan on using indoors. The Liberty 2 Pro is my daily driver.

Why these over AirPods. I've been looking at these but not sure the pros and cons
Most of the pros towards the Sennheiser's are real subjective but what I can tell you is the sound quality and soundstage is way above apple's offerings. As for convenience, looks, and integration with your phone OS is probably up to your phone choice.

No it does have aptx
You are correct, my mistake. I looked at the first link comparing them to the momentum 2 and it wasnt listed.
