    • To qualify for the $600 discount, you need to:
      • Activate the Samsung S20, S20+, or S20 Ultra on a full service plan (data-only SIMs do not qualify) within 30 days of the shipment confirmation email and remain active on Google Fi for 90 consecutive days.
      • You must also bring/transfer your number to Fi within 30 days of the shipment confirmation email. Fi-to-Fi number transfers are not eligible.
      • If you choose to get a new number, you will not receive the $600 discount.
  • How do I qualify for the $600 discount as an existing Fi customer?
    • An existing Fi customer is somebody who has been active on Fi on or before January 5th, 2020.
    • To qualify for the $600 discount, you need to:

Wow great deal. You could use the S20 as a stepping stone to the S21 by trading it in next year. You may even get more than $400 trade in credit.

Why not active the phone first a couple days before 22 day and terminate the old phone line after 22 days?

you cant. as soon as you activate the phone, your previous phone gets deactivated. promo unsatisfied

I'm on vacation right now in the usa. do I have a chance to get this promotion? I will be going in February. Can I leave the 3 months of google fi paid while I use the phone in my country or at least pay it while I use it in my country?

I am not sure. I have never done a transfer with google fi number to google fi number with an active promotion with days needed left. Your experience with google fi is just like me. I would just be careful in not ruining your promo..... I got 42 days left on my promo with $230.26 google fi credit balance. I wouldn't do any transfer over especially because it isn't my daily driver phone number... I wish I could use the google fi credit on a phone purchase but that isn't happening.

Interesting tempting deal.

i am not doing any transfer. just swapping phones on sam eline after promo terms are satisfied on curr device.

You need to transfer your number or you won't get the discount. Read the terms carefully. I think it would have to be the same line, not a new line, unless you have a number to transfer into Fi for the second line.

Even better deal then. And doesn't happen too often. Hopefully this is how it is for everyone. When I lived in SoCal, this would have saved me almost $60 in taxes. (Assuming $600 discount)
